[PC Game] The Survivalists

The Survivalists is a cooperative adventure game by Team 17 set in The Escapists universe. In this game, the player wakes up on the beach of a mysterious island and has to survive through crafting, building, hunting, and fighting.

The environment changes with day/night cycles and multiple biomes as the player explores and discovers the land’s secrets. Each player gets a unique adventure as the wilderness is procedurally generated. There are animals to hunt for food (some of which will also hunt the player) and an array of mythical enemies. The player can complete quests received from the Taskmasters, trade in Doubloons or Trinket tokens to a Mysterious Stranger, fend off their shelters from Enemies, venture through Labyrinths and caves, or source resources across the archipelago.

Up to four players can cooperate for survival.

Up to four players may build, trade, go on quests, gain loot, and fight for survival. If in need of a builder, a lumberjack or even a soldier, the monkeys on the island can be tamed and trained to help with everyday tasks or as back up fighters on raids of a fanatic camp. The Mimic System allows a wide variety of functions to be performed by these cheeky new friends, with monkey management becoming key to surviving the island’s challenges.

The secret to survival is to make the most of the available resources. For example, piecing together a primitive axe to chop wood or mixing up a refreshing fruit smoothie to keep the hunger at bay. The player will discover recipes to expand their options across food, items, or structures.

Mysterious temples are scattered across the island and may contain epic weapons and other riches, but they are sure to be guarded well. Treasure hunting requires planning and preparation.
